As a Product Marketing Manager at Commio you will be the bridge between our product team and the market, ensuring that our cloud communications (CPaaS/SaaS) solutions resonate with target audiences. Your role will encompass market research, messaging, go-to-market strategy, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to fuel product adoption and growth.
Essential Functions
Develop Messaging & Positioning
Craft compelling, customer-centric messaging and positioning for our CPaaS/SaaS products, ensuring alignment with the company’s brand and value proposition.
Market Research
Conduct competitive analysis, customer interviews, and industry research to understand market trends, pain points, and opportunities.
Go-to-Market Strategy
Lead product launches by developing and executing go-to-market plans, collaborating with product management, sales, and other teams to ensure successful launches.
Content Creation
Develop marketing collateral such as datasheets, case studies, product videos, blog posts, and presentations to support sales and marketing efforts.
Sales Enablement
Partner with sales teams to provide training, tools, and resources that empower them to effectively communicate product value to prospects and customers.
Customer Advocacy
Work closely with customers to create success stories, testimonials, and user feedback loops that drive continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a liaison between product, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment on strategy, execution, and key objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 3+ years in product marketing or a related role, preferably within a CPaaS, SaaS, or technology company.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in developing and executing go-to-market strategies.
- Ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, impactful messaging.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo).
- Highly collaborative with the ability to work across departments and influence without authority.
- Self-motivated, with strong project management and prioritization skills.
- Raleigh-area candidates are preferred; the role is remote.
