Commio is committed to supporting our customers’ efforts for compliant 10DLC messaging campaigns and fast, easy campaign approvals. Our latest product update contains several new features to help ensure compliance, as outlined below.
Campaign Form Updates
The campaign form now includes fields for the required Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions links (top highlights below), along with the option of uploading any supporting documentation related to these new fields.
We’ve also updated the subscriber information (bottom highlights) to help guide you on what information is expected to be in your opt-in, opt-out and help message content.
Opt-Out Messages
Along with these updates, Commio will automatically send the opt-out messages saved in the campaign details on your behalf, to ensure they are successfully sent to recipients who wish to opt out of messaging and that they adhere to The Campaign Registry requirements based on the approved content. You are still expected to send your own opt-in reply messages and help reply messages.
Opt-In, Opt-Out Wording
In addition to the generic keywords listed below, which Commio has always applied, any custom keywords you save in your 10DLC messaging campaign details will also be applied to user opt-in / opt-out scenarios.
Opt Out: STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, OPTOUT, QUIT
Opt In: START, UNSTOP, YES, SUBSCRIBE, OPTIN, JOIN
New Webhook
Last, there is a new webhook you can subscribe to, labeled “SMS Optout Confirmations,” that sends the following information back to your specified endpoint:
- To number
- From number
- Opt-out message content
- Date/timestamp
- Original STOP message ID
